Founded in 2017 by Ryan FitzGerald, Studio Fitz designs timeless, considered interiors with a distinct focus on functionality. The New York-based firm creates residences woven with moments of tension and intrigue within a diverse set of living spaces. 

Studio Fitz defines, guides, and evaluates itself not on its ability to make a signature mark, but rather an intentional preference for and ability to creatively evolve with each project. With a notable emphasis on the client experience, the studio’s relationships are central to the process and underscored by trust, a deep understanding, and a sense of humor.

Studio Fitz tends to favor the timeless over the trendy, the pragmatic over the impractical, and the personal over the prescriptive. The practice remains based in NYC and works internationally. 

Ryan FITZGERALD

Ryan FitzGerald is the principal designer of Studio Fitz. Prior to founding Studio Fitz, Ryan held top positions at New York design firms. Most notably, Ryan oversaw Interiors at Selldorf Architects . Born and raised in Wilmington, NC, Ryan moved to New York City to study architectural history at New York University. After receiving his B.A., Ryan studied architectural design at Columbia University and the Architectural Association in London.
